If you could instantly connect with someone anywhere in the world, how would that affect your sense of national identity?

I can instantly connect to people through the internet, and I know that some countries have better stuff than my country. But I still think that The US has the best military. I also think that North America and Europe are the best continents in the world.

If given the opportunity, I would extend my hand to foreign countries, but I would still remain a proud American Citizen.
