U.S. Running Out Of Bombs As Israel And Ukraine Wars Escalate
The U.S. has transferred tens of thousands of its bombs and shells to Israel since Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack.
But it hasn’t given Israel everything it wants. That’s because the U.S. military lacks the capacity to provide some of the weapons Israel requested, according to Gen. CQ Brown, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
In addition to Israel, the Biden administration has sent an enormous quantity of materiel to Ukraine since Russia’s 2022 invasion. Meanwhile, the U.S. is gearing up to rush an influx of arms to Taiwan in hopes of deterring a possible Chinese attack on the… Read more

How does the prospect of the U.S. running out of bombs affect your personal views on international military aid and involvement?
@9M4CZB82wks2W
The U.S. needs to stop giving Israel anything because they are commiting genocide, but Ukraine is under attack, they are trying to defend themselves so we need to help. Israel is obviously able to defend themselves considering they don't stop bombing and killing innocent civilians.
@9M3YMBG 2wks2W
It would lead me to believe that we have exhausted a surplus of bombs to the war effort for 2 countries.
@9M43RTH2wks2W
Stop sending money to other countries! Continue spending in Ukraine because of the scale of the Russian attacks, but decrease it significantly. Stop funding Israel because what they are doing in Palestine is genocide.
@9M42N692wks2W
it just remins me that the USA need to mind they business but I do understand that we have to protect ukraine
Solution: give Ukraine more of our ammo.
What could go wrong?
@NiftyEggsRepublican2wks2W
Ironically, that is the solution.
Upscaling and distributing our munitions production capabilities is exponentially more valuable than stockpiling what is ultimately a sliver of our old munitions while not addressing gaping production-side issues.
That is exactly what China intended: bleeding the US to death.
They created hotspots all around the world, the drain our strategic oil reserve, and deplete our munitions.
@SparklingVotingPatriot2wks2W
Worlds highest defense budget by far and they can't maintain enough ammo. Meanwhile Russia has ammo to burn.

Bernie Sanders Defends College Protesters Accused Of Being Pro-Hamas
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) said that many of the pro-Palestine demonstrating on college campuses are doing so “for the right reasons.”
The Vermont lawmaker joined CNN anchor Christiane Amanpour where the pair discussed President Joe Biden’s recent condemnation of the pro-Palestine protests over the use of pro-Hamas chants and anti-Semitic rhetoric.
Sanders said the president was correct in calling out hate and violence at pro-Gaza protests, but said it is important to draw a distinction for those protesting against the Israeli government.
AMANPOUR: Do you believe President Bide… Read more

Standing up for the oppressed is never easy; I spent the first three-quarters of my life standing watch against the possible rise of anti-semitism, because at that point in time it was the Jewish people who seemed vulnerable. Such is not the case at-present.
The Palestinian people are being subjected to a marginalization and dehumanization the likes of which we have not seen in decades- but the age of oppression is raising its ugly head once again, and Benjamin Netanyahu is the personification of iron-booted oppression and wanton heedless murder.
The work of freedom-loving people goes on, against the enemies of freedom, wherever and whomever they may be.
This is America, where speech is free and protesting is patriotic.
The corporate MSM and many politicians believe that Israel should be determining who has rights and who doesn't in the US.
@EmptyWaspTranshumanist2wks2W
The last time a president's foreign policy was this unpopular with the American people his name was LBJ and he decided to not run for a second term.
The majority of college student protestors are not 'pro-Hamas,' they are 'pro-Palestinian.' As in stop the genocide. This conflation is just as offensive as claiming that anti-Israel and anti-Netanyahu stances in terms of genocide is 'antisemitic.'

Biden Calls Ally Japan ‘Xenophobic’
Joe Biden included ally Japan along with rivals China and Russia in a list of countries he called “xenophobic” in a speech at a campaign fundraising event in Washington.
Biden reiterated remarks he made last month linking China’s economic woes to its unwillingness to accept immigration. This time he added Russia, but also longstanding ally Japan, whose Prime Minister Fumio Kishida he welcomed for a summit and state dinner in Washington three weeks ago.
“You know, one of the reasons our economy is growing is because of you and many others. Why? Because we welcome immigran… Read more

Russia now accepts headscarves and hijabs in passport photos.
Moscow has relaxed regulations covering applications by foreign nationals applying for citizenship, and will allow headscarves and hijabs in passport photographs, the Russian Interior Ministry said last Wednesday.
The new law will come into force on May 5, ten days after its publication.
“In cases where the religious beliefs of the applicant do not allow them to appear in front of strangers without a head covering, photographs are to be provided in head coverings that do not hide the oval of the face,” the document states.

Russia is attempting to attract Muslims to its side and seeks to involve them in its Eastern alliance as part of its strategy to confront the Western alliance, or in other words, to recruit them.
@WorldlyCheetahGreen2wks2W
This is an absolute great development in Russia’s policy. I have some Russian’s students in our university here, most of them are from Siberia. They told us how repressive the Russian’s government before to Russian’s moslems. They even aren’t allowed to recite Qur’an. So now the policy is changing. Salute to Vladimir Putin who tries his best to appreciate human rights. Salute to Russia
Russia is true christian country where equality for all.

Trump to parade vice presidential hopefuls at Florida fundraiser
Donald Trump will host a bevy of potential vice presidential picks at a Republican event in Florida this weekend, giving him the chance to observe his potential running mates in action while using them as a draw to attract donors.
The Republican presidential candidate will convene a two-day retreat on Friday and Saturday in Palm Beach that is expected to attract more than 400 donors and high-profile politicians.
Potential VP picks expected to attend include North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, U.S. Senators Marco Rubio, Tim Scott and J.D. Vance; and U.S. Represe… Read more
@PretzelsNaomiPatriot2wks2W
If he's making New York in play then he's going for Stefanik, Vance needs to stay in the Senate, Donald's and Rubio brings up the home state problem, Burgum would be a better Energy Secretary and Scott would bring nothing to the table
Wish he'd reconsider Vivek.
Burgum is moving up Trump’s VP ladder
Trump likes his measured demeanor & gubernatorial experience and sees Burgum as reliable and low-drama — a safe choice who could attract moderate voters.
@D3m0cr4cyEvaVeteran2wks2W
Rubio would be Pence on steroids. DeSantis should run for senate to get him out for good.
Other than Vance the rest are meh. Stefanik would probably be a Pence 2.0 as well.

Paris police accused of ‘social cleansing’ after migrant camp closed ahead of Olympics
French police evicted around 100 migrants from a makeshift tent camp near the city hall in Paris on Tuesday ahead of the Olympic Games.
The dawn operation, which prompted renewed accusations of “social cleansing”, saw police order the migrants to pack their tents and belongings.
While the group, mostly teenage boys and young men from West Africa, many of whom were children awaiting papers, were offered temporary housing in the Loire-region town of Angers, only three boarded the bus.
Paris police said the operation was conducted for security reasons, notably because the camp was near… Read more

Social cleansing? Just getting rid of people who shouldn't be there making the place into a pigsty.
@WalrusPatUnity2wks2W
Social cleansing looks like a good thing to me as long as they're given the opportunity to leave of their own free will first. The streets are for people to walk along they're not campsites.
Please come do it across every left wing governed city in US
Austin business employees can’t get into their own property without stepping over a public toilet
Yet we are constantly told the ever increasing swarm of homeless are the victims
They deal drugs openly , they menace passers by and frequently attack students where they are drawn to campus areas
They’re violent and deranged
@TautPartis4nLibertarian2wks2W
The real problem is not that they are doing this, ie. not allowing people to camp out on the streets, but that the police are not doing this all of the time.
It's like Xi's visit to San Francisco, where for the space of Xi's visit, California kicked drug addicts and criminals off the streets, but this same left-wing government, when Xi is not visiting, uses these drug addicts and criminals to make war on the law abiding and constructive people.
@SolemnPonyPatriot2wks2W
So these migrants were offered temporary housing in the Loire-region town of Angers, but only three boarded the bus? Makes you think why these migrants always want to remain in the big cities.

Colombia cuts off all diplomatic ties with Israel
Colombian President Gustavo Petro said on Wednesday he will break diplomatic relations with Israel over its actions in Gaza.
Petro has already heavily criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and requested to join South Africa’s case accusing Israel of genocide at the International Court of Justice.
“Here in front of you, the government of change, of the president of the republic announces that tomorrow we will break diplomatic relations with the state of Israel ... for having a government, for having a president who is genocidal,” Petro told cheering crowds in Bog… Read more
Hamas is a terrorist organization that endangers innocent lives by using civilians as shields and building tunnels for warfare instead of shelters. Israel's actions aim to protect its citizens from such threats.
Colombian President Petro:
"There is a word that vindicates the necessity of life, rebellion, raised flags and resistance. That word is called “GAZA!” I hereby inform you that tomorrow, DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS with ISRAEL will be BROKEN!”
He stands above all the Zionist Arab leaders who cowardly continue to support Israel and are not even considering cutting relations with them. Traitors.

Trump praises New York police raid on Columbia university protesters
Republican U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump said on Wednesday it "was a beautiful thing to watch" New York police officers raiding a Columbia University building occupied by pro-Palestinian students, and called on officials to crack down on campus protests across the United States.
"New York was under siege last night," Trump told supporters at a campaign rally in Wisconsin, praising the police officers for arresting about 300 protesters at Columbia and City College of New York who he referred to as "raging lunatics and Hamas sympathizers."

Reading about Donald Trump , his political ambition , his legal predicament and his ramblings are exhausting. It all feels like a very bad dream from which we may never awake. Days ago, he mused about not accepting election results (again) if he loses (again) . He is clearly the most malevolent force American politics have ever encountered.
Trump casts himself as an outlaw hero because he has no other defense. And he understands that people will believe anything. Just say it loudly and over and over.
@R3publicAuroraGreen2wks2W
Even anti- heros must have loyalty to an ideal and, presumably, one’s band of comrades. Mr Trump, demonstrably does neither, promoting only himself and throwing his supporters and peers under the bus as easily as his enemies. Let’s be careful not to confuse the current fever dream about this authoritarian with any sort of real antiestablishment ethos.

Saudi Arabia Cracks Down: Israel Critics Arrested
Saudi Arabia has stepped up the arrest of citizens for social-media posts related to the Israel-Hamas war as the kingdom signals a readiness to agree to diplomatic relations with the Jewish state — if it commits to Palestinian statehood.
Detaining people for online comments — even those more than 10 years old — and restrictions on free speech and political expression are the norm in Saudi Arabia. Yet the recent spate of arrests are motivated by security concerns specifically linked to the deadly Oct. 7 invasion of Israel by Hamas and its aftermath, according to Riyadh-based… Read more

The Cruel Spectacle of British Asylum Policy
The Safety of Rwanda Act allow the British government to finally, after two years, enact its policy to permanently deport asylum seekers to Rwanda.
Some of the most vulnerable people in Britain will be rounded up, detained and then — in theory — flown some 4,000 miles to Rwanda’s capital, Kigali.
Nearly 30,000 people made small-boat journeys to Britain last year alone, and deaths have become more common. Five people, including a child, died making the crossing last week, hours after the bill passed.
The deal was condemned by human rights groups and the United Nations’ ref… Read more
